Chocolate Pudding
1 cup white sugar
4 tablespoons flour
1 egg
2 cups milk
2 1/2 squares unsweetened chocolate, grated
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon vanilla

Mix sugar and flour in heavy sauce pan.
Beat in egg.
Add milk and grated chocolate.
Cook over medium heat, stirring until thickened.
Add vanilla and butter.
Pour into 6 individual sauce dishes or small goblets.
