Mom's Chocolate Pudding

1 cup sugar
6 tablespoons cocoa
6 heaping tablespoons flour
3 cups scalded milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Mix together the sugar, cocoa and flour.
Scald the milk in double boiler.
Mix dry ingredients with a little of the milk until a thick paste is formed, then add rest of the milk, stirring constantly.
Let mixture come to a boil in double boiler and cook at boiling temperature for three minutes.
Remove from heat.
Add vanilla.
Chill and serve with whipped cream.
