Ozark Pudding

1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup chopped raw apple

Beat egg and sugar a long time until very smooth.
Mix flour, baking powder, and salt; stir into sugar mixture.
Add apples, nuts, and vanilla.
Bake in buttered pie tin at 350° for 35 minutes.
Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
