Eggs And Sausage

1 pound sausage (or 1/2 pound bacon)
6 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cups milk
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 slices of white bread, cubed
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Mix a tiny amount of milk with mustard, then add rest of milk.
Brown sausage and drain on paper toweling, set aside. (I use 1/2 pound bacon, fried crisp and crumbled in place of sausage, as sausage has a strong flavor.)
Beat eggs and add milk, dry mustard and salt.
Add cubed bread to egg mixture.
Add sausage or bacon.
Pour mixture into a buttered 8" x 8" baking dish.
Sprinkle cheese on top.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Bake uncovered at 325° for 50 minutes. (When doubling recipe use a 9" x 13" pan).
