Mom's Beef Goulash

1 stick margarine
6 medium onions, diced
3 pounds beef, cubed
2 cups beef stock
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon vinegar
2 teaspoons marjoram
2 teaspoons paprika
1/2 cup red wine
Sauté onions and meat in margarine until seared and well browned.
Add other ingredients and simmer for 3 hours.
Mix 2 tablespoons flour and some cold water and stir into mixture.
Boil for a few minutes.
