Grandma Niederberger's Pea Soup

2 quarts water
2 cups split peas

1 ham bone

2 tablespoons margarine
2 bouillon cubes
few stalks celery
salt and pepper to taste

Wash peas.
Cook all ingredients together for about 1 hour.
Strain.
Add margarine and bouillon cubes before serving.
